About AlphaDelta

Independent AML effectiveness reviews and senior AML advisory informed by experience building, defending and examining AML programs.

The Firm
Who We Are
AlphaDelta is an independent AML advisory firm specializing in independent AML effectiveness reviews and senior advisory for Canadian reporting entities.

Our work draws on senior experience building and owning AML programs, defending them during audits and regulatory examinations, and conducting examinations as a regulator.

That perspective shapes how we assess whether programs operate effectively in practice, challenge assumptions and support decisions that must be clear, practical and defensible.

Our experience spans major regulated sectors, including financial institutions, securities dealers, money services businesses (MSBs), fintechs, mortgage businesses, life insurance and real estate.
Our Purpose
Why AlphaDelta Exists
AlphaDelta was created to operate at the level where regulatory posture is formed - where legal obligations, business realities, executive priorities and operational decisions come together.

The firm was built to provide guidance grounded in lived accountability. That means understanding not only the regulation, but also the relationships and trade-offs involved in leading an AML program: advising executives, working across legal, compliance, technology and marketing teams, engaging regulators and defending decisions when they are challenged.

AlphaDelta extends that experience beyond a single institution, creating a platform through which senior AML expertise can help multiple Canadian reporting entities strengthen their programs, navigate scrutiny and make better decisions.

The objective is not simply to identify deficiencies or produce recommendations. It is to help organizations develop programs, leadership capability and regulatory positions that work in practice and can withstand scrutiny.
Our Perspective
The AlphaDelta Perspective
AlphaDelta’s perspective is grounded in direct experience across the regulatory lifecycle.

The firm is informed by:
  • building and owning AML programs;
  • defending programs during audits and regulatory examinations;
  • conducting examinations as a regulator;
  • executive governance, board reporting and remediation;
  • regulatory policy development and industry advisory work.
This experience provides a practical understanding of how obligations are interpreted, controls are tested, findings are formed and management decisions are evaluated under scrutiny.
